Why Construction Administration Matters

When you want to purchase or sell a home, you hire a Realtor, right? The housing market fluctuates, there’s a mountain of paperwork to be completed, and you must check what feels like a million boxes before the transaction is done. It’s nice to have someone there with you every step of the way to guide you through the process and give advice based on their own experience in the field!

The same thing is true when you are designing a new building. Whether that building is residential or commercial, you are bound to come across a few “bumps” on the road to completion. Wouldn’t it be nice to have an expert to guide you through the process? That’s where an experienced Architect comes in!

Quality of Service

You might be thinking, “but I don’t have to hire a realtor... aren’t I required to work with an architect to design a building?” In many situations, you’re right. Depending on where you live, and what the project is, having an architect at least sign off on the design for your building to ensure it is compliant with local and national codes is required by law.

However, there’s a huge difference between hiring an architect who signs a few papers for you, and hiring an experienced guide who will stick with you throughout the entire building process. It’s important to do your research and hire a firm that offers the same quality of service as they do quality of design.

Not All Architectural Firms are Created Equal

Many architectural firms end the relationship with their clients after the building plans are completed. At Uncommon Architects, we believe our duty as your Architect goes much further than that! When you hire our team, we are there for you every step of the way, from project inception to completion. In addition to architectural drawings and design services, we offer project management to get you from beginning to end!
